A "hole in the wall" that's one of our favorite Mexican food spots in all of San Diego. Your host's husband was born and raised here and this is his go-to. Authentic tacos, casual vibe, no-frills perfection.
Right near the house with really good taco options and other items. Great drinks, beautiful ambiance, and excellent food. Perfect for a night out without driving far.

One of our favorite trails! Start through the mountain and come out on the beach side. The beach tends to be less crowded than others. Limited food options nearby but worth it for the scenery and tranquility.
